The Role of Caricature Art in Countering Terrorism in Contemporary Societies

Objectives: The present study aimed to and analyze a collection of caricature artworks reflecting the artist's standpoint on introducing addressing terrorism. It also sought provide insights recommendations potential use art in countering terrorism contemporary society.
 Methods: Researchers employed descriptive analytical design, which is most appropriate scientific method for studying sample. methods used were as follows: Survey Method - Gathering, studying, describing notable cartoonists' works Content Analysis Examining analyzing from sample.
 Results: yielded several findings, with important being that countries worldwide, majority cartoonists have committed themselves widespread societies. However, their efforts are insufficient light growing phenomenon.
 Conclusions: Caricature plays prominent role causes terrorism, even before its emergence. This achieved through significant influence shaping cultural emotional perspectives society members. Moreover, free negative beliefs attitudes can serve foundation extremism terrorist activities.
